Dental Implants

A permanent solution for missing teeth.

When a patient is missing a tooth, it not only can impact their smile and confidence, it also causes their jawbone to deteriorate and can change their face's appearance. Dental implants are ideal to replace missing teeth. They look and feel natural and provide the support your jawbone needs.

How do Dental Implants Work?

Dental implants replace the missing tooth root and leaves neighboring teeth intact. They act as a support for the implant crown. Dental implants are made from titanium. The titanium screw is placed into the jawbone and an abutment is connected to the screw. To complete the process, a crown is then placed onto the abutment which looks like a natural tooth. Over time, the implant fuses to the jawbone, resulting in a permanent solution for missing teeth.

Dental Implant Process

We'll begin with a general consultation and treatment plan. Imaging is gathered to provide us a clear picture of the area in question. If the tooth is still in place and needs extracted, it might be possible to place the implant at the time of extraction. If the tooth is already gone, bone grafting might be required in advance so that the area can support the implant.

Each patient is different. To provide you a more accurate timeline and procedure stall, we recommend scheduling a consultation so that we may formulate a plan best for you.
